26th International Youth Leadership Conference

This is the official application form for the International Youth Leadership Conference in Prague. Please read over the following information carefully before submitting your application. If you have any questions, send an email toapplications@iylcprague.org and you will be answered promptly.

Application Process
All applications must be submitted online with the form below.

Eligibility 
The IYLC will select Conference participants in a manner that ensures relative uniformity of educational levels, while providing for a high level of geographic diversity. All nationalities are welcome to apply.
For the purposes of group cohesion, each applicant will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

For the purposes of group cohesion, each applicant will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

1. Educational level and area of study.

2. Command of English - You do not have to be a native English speaker, however, the IYLC is conducted in English.

3. Age - If you are older than 26, please consider attending as an observer.

4. Quality of short essay or professor recommendation.

2nd round: February 15th, 2013
3rd round: March 1st, 2013
4th round: March 15th, 2013
5th round: April 1st, 2013
6th round: April 15th, 2013
7th round: May 1st, 2013
8th round: May 15th, 2013
9th round: June 1st, 2013
10th round: June 15th, 2013
11th round: July 1st, 2013
Included in this price:

• 5 nights accommodation at the Conference Venue

• All field trips, site visits, guest lectures, panel discussions and workshops

Final payment deadline: July 15th 
Please do not make any conference fee payments until you receive the official Acceptance Notification from us. It is strongly recommended, that all of the necessary visa and travel arrangement are made before the conference fee is paid. The conference is limited to 120 participants. The only way to guarantee your place is to pay. Please do not wait until the last minute to make arrangements for payment.

Early Bird Discounts 
The Early Bird Discount* is a limited-time offer available to all accepted applicants, who make their final conference payments in a specified time frame:

30% (9900 CZK) Early Bird discount will apply to all payments made
through February 15th (Fee: 23100 CZK).

20% (6600 CZK) Early Bird discount will apply to all payments made
through March 15th (Fee: 26400 CZK).

10% (3300 CZK) Early Bird discount will apply to all payments made
through April 15th (Fee: 29700 CZK).

5% (1650 CZK) Early Bird discount will apply to all payments made
through May 15th (Fee: 31350 CZK).

*Please note that Early Bird discounts may not be combined with other types of discounts and scholarships we offer.

Rounds of acceptances

We review applications in rounds, during which each applicant will be notified of their acceptance or rejection status within 3 days: 

1st round: February 1st, 2013

Securing your place at the IYLC

To secure your place at the Conference we need you to pay a non-refundable deposit of 3000 czk. Once you are ready to make your final payment, the deposit will be deducted from your Conference Fee. Given the limited spaces available and the number of applications received this year, we can only guarantee your place on the conference upon receipt of your deposit.
