Forty-nine WISE Learners from 31 countries participated in the 2010 and 2011 Summits as full delegates. WISE Learners come from diverse backgrounds – studying disciplines such as Sociology, Environmental Education, Fashion/Interior Design, Computer Systems, Accounting, or Agro-Economics – and provide unique insights into education and the learning experience.The students selected in 2011 have had opportunities to take part in a year-round advocacy process, working in a multinational team on the theme Increasing Access to Education through Innovation. Recruiting the 2012 LearnersFollowing the success of the Learners’ Voice Program, WISE is now inviting a further 30 outstanding young learners to join this growing global community. They will be invited to attend this year’s Summit in Doha from November 13 to 15, and may be involved in activities during 2013.
